Thank you for visiting my photography site! I’m Valerie Wojciechowski (but Wojciechowski is intimidating…so you can just say Wojo.) I graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2019 with a Bachelors of Arts in Photography.
I am currently a full time adjunct photographer for Grand Valley State University where I shoot for the Grand Valley Magazine and other University publications.
I love ALL types of photography, which is why I have found my place as a photographer in higher education. Higher ed photography is a little bit of everything, it’s a little bit of portraiture, it’s a little bit of architecture, little bit of sports, little bit of editorial, little bit of photojournalism, little bit of marketing. I never get bored, and I always have the opportunity to challenge myself.
West Michigan is my home. I have a cat, his name is Kathleen. If I had one wish, I’d ask for pizza and wine to have no calories. I love a good philosophical debate almost as much as I love to watch Fixer Upper. I’m that girl who gets way too excited to write events in her planner. Oh yeah, and photography… lots and lots of photography.
